Massage Tips
How to get the most from your treatment...
Pre Massage
Drink plenty of water as your body needs to be hydratedArrive on time to avoid any unnecessary stress
During Massage
Communicate with your practitioner, if you are uncomfortable or if the pressure is not right you must let the therapist know so you have the full benefit of the massage
Concentrate on your breathing, long deep breaths particularly if an area is being worked on that may be tight or tender.
If you want to talk during your treatment then that is great but always remember that silence is acceptable also and can often deepen your experience.
Your massage is your time so relax and enjoy!
Post Massage
Again drink plenty of water as this helps to flush out any toxins that may have been stirred up during the massage. Water replenishes and cleanses your system.
Have a bath with Epsom salts. This helps clear and draw out any impurities from the body. You can buy them from most pharmacies.
Avoid being busy or stressed, maybe do something you enjoy.
